First Hip Hop Record

Piecing together real Hip Hop history..from segregation 1967 to 1979 (first Hip Hop record)….even though dj flowers, pete dj jones WERE NOT Hip Hop..brooklyn dj's did have the biggest music equipment in 1970 -71…kool dj dee (inspired by pete dj jones) came from brooklyn, moved to the bronx, joined the Black Spades and bought large dj equipment..Mario who was rocking on small equipment at that time, started rocking on kool dj dee's large equipment in "the Big park", so much so, many people thought it was Mario's dj set…Mario had the power to arrange the outside jams, kool dj dee had the equipment..Later, Mario got his own big equipment set...as the Black Spades grew in popularity in different neighborhoods in the Bronx 1972 - 76.. MANY teenagers in those neighborhoods were inspired to become dj's..when kool dj dee played in bronx river houses around 1974 a young afrika bambaataa was inspired to become a dj...this is the reality of how Hip Hop began
